    Hoping you see this and might be able to help. In new era hats I’m 7 5/8 to 7 3/4 and I have a melin Coronado in an xl as the classic size coronados don’t fit my head right in the back where the netting part is. The xl fits great didn’t even have to adjust the snaps. My question is in regards to the fit of trenches style. If I get an xl in the trenches hat do you think it might be too big, too deep? Since it is a deeper fit and I’m right in between sizes according to Melins guide I’m not sure. I realize you’re not an expert on melin hats lol just hoping you might have some advice!

      Hey man, all good!! Thanks for checking oht the video. If you are truly a 7 5/8s or bigger in New Era I would have to guess the XL would be the way to go even for the Trenches. It may be slightly deeper but I think that’ll be right. I love the dern trenches so much man I have way too many of them but dang they fit so freaking good!!! Hope that helps and if not man you can always exchange. Have a good one!!!

    • @TheChapMX
      @TheChapMX 5 дней назад

      You’re so welcome that makes me really happy that it helped!! I did just use the hoses that originally came with the pool and the new pump. Only extra hoses I have gotten are the smaller ones because they dried and cracked. That’s no good if they keep coming off. You could get some metal clamps, just be careful not to over tighten. The plastic clamps are not very good. Sorry I’m not much more help!

      Hahahah oh I thought about this and wondered how long it’d take someone to notice that ugly piece of something. Hard to trust in someone with a tow strap around their pool 😆😆. I guess I should do a video on that. Unfortunately, I noticed one day that the strap that came with the pool was starting to come apart. Soon after I put the ugly strap on for a backup, the stock strap came the rest of the way apart. I’m not sure but I feel pretty certain there would’ve been a flood if it came apart with nothing holding the pool tight. I have a plan to fix it. Thanks for the laugh, and good eye!!

      Mud grapplers ain't no joke! I had those on a previous truck, sounded like a helicopter haha. I'd def. try to take it easy and run the truck in a lower gear manually so its not constantly trying to shift. Other than that, could go with an external trans cooler. Love mine. With it set to max at the pump and using 3.5 nozzle it works great. I've never had an issue with water volume/flow when it comes to rinsing. I have never measured the water flow (GPM) with this setup, but I have never had a pressure of flow issue when it comes to rinsing, it does a great job. Water supply flow and pressure to the pressure washer can play a factor in the pressure and flow at the nozzle. Also, no two products are identical, so possibly variations in the pump, motor or nozzle tolerances effect the output from unit to unit. I wouldn't think it would be a drastic difference, but a difference none the less. I've had mine for two years now, and it is use weekly as I rotate washing our two vehicles on a two week schedule with no issues or complaints. It is pricey, that is for sure. But I got tired of the gas pressure washer noise, having to fuel it, the exhaust fumes and as you mentioned having to turn it off and on several time during the washing process. This unit is damn near whisper quiet and the auto off/on is a great feature.

    • @TheChapMX
      @TheChapMX 7 дней назад

      I'm so glad it works well for you! I def. enjoy those positive aspects you brought up about it. The quiet operation and quick on and off is so nice. There is also no comparison to the performance of the foam cannon with the pressure washer. I'd sure like to get back to a routine that good of washing our vehicles. I do my best but once every 2 weeks is where its at!! Thank you for checking it out and I appreciate your input a lot! Take care.

      You know, it was really a grind in the beginning. This isn't my first time going through this as I've put on weight and lost it in the past but this was the worst I've ever been. I was having health issues from it and that was the line that pushed me to change. The first few weeks to a month is the toughest, in my opinion. You are putting in the work, its a difficult change, and at first you don't see a lot changing. However, if you can just stick to the plan for a month or two and you start seeing the changes, it becomes something you look forward to vs. not wanting to. I spent so much time coming up with excuses and I promise you I feel so much better at this point. You can do it, just get started, make yourself a plan, and trust the process! Looking to get a few more of these hats myself. I have the Trenches Hydro and have had that for a couple of years now. I liked to wear it camping. I wear a 7-5/8 hat in New Era so my head is on the larger side. I got the XL version of my hat just to ensure more room. I love the look of the Odyssey Stacked Hydro but it worries me about the size. Did you get the normal size? I know it is more shallow than the Trenches but I still have some hope I will like it ha.

      I have gotten both a classic and XL Odyssey Stacked. Its def. a tighter/shallower fit than the trenches as you'd expect. For me personally, the XL didn't particularly solve that, it just put more air space between my head and the top of the hat in the front. Your head sounds a little bigger than mine, so it may be a better option for you. I pretty much just wear trenches most everyday because its the most comfortable for me. I'd give the XL a try!

      I hadn't heard of that, that's pretty awesome. Sounds about like best of both worlds right there.

    Ive been driving on the beaches of the Outer Banks for 35 years. I got stuck when I was a kid. I have run diesels for years now and I have never had an issue. I can run full on but Im not a fan of even saying it. I air down to 18. it's so much more fun and you never have to worry about getting stuck.

    What size tires and do you have any rubbing issues?

    • @TheChapMX
      @TheChapMX 2 месяца назад

      on the purple wheels (17x9 -38mm) I have 285/70-17s. They did rub the fender flare in the front and the body in the back. I trimmed the flare and that clears but I do still have slight rubbing in the rear even after folding the pinch weld. Its not bad, only full crank in reverse. With the 16x8 -12mm grey wheels with 285/75-16s, there is no rubbing whatsoever.

    Wish my seats looked that good. Mine are cloth, SR5, 4x4. I NEED some weathertech liners but they sure are proud of them.

      Thanks man, I try to take care of them but they are getting worn from sliding in and out. I’ve thought about covers but just never see any I like. That’s exactly why I waited so long to get the liners but I’ve been pleased man, they work really well.

    Thanks but this was my fix! Reached out to Schlage customer service and followed steps and FIXED!!!! With the door open: 1) Disconnect the battery 2) Press the Schlage button on the keypad once and release 3) Reconnect the battery and quickly press and hold down the Schlage button ( the keypad should turn blue and you should hear a long beep) 4) Enter user code A from the programming sticker on the keypad and the Schlage button should flash green

    I got a 21 250x, same noises. Output shaft seal went bad, water got into the crank bearing causing rust, seized it in a race, had it rebuilt by a pro mechanic, and same noise. Gets louder after a hard pull or hard ride but doesn’t overheat, pulls hard and is a fricken rocket.
